Dawg Pound Reunion 25th Anniversary
Dear Browns Backers:
One of the greatest partnerships in the history of Cleveland sports was formed 25 years ago. That partnership, between the team and the fans, became known as the Cleveland Dawg Pound. Who knew that the energy and enthusiasm generated by this phenomenon would be just as strong today as it was 25 years ago.
On August 8, 2010 from 1 pm – 6 pm at the Cleveland Downtown Marriott, we will be commemorating this historic moment. The celebration is our tailgate party to the kickoff of an annual scholarship in honor of the original Dawgs and their fans
The 2010 scholarship recipient, will be from the local Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland, whose mission is to promote the social, educational, health, leadership and character development of girls and boys during critical periods of their growth.
In addition to the scholarship, game-day plays also include a special presentation honoring the memory of Eddie Johnson and Don Rogers and the unveiling of a limited edition commemorative poster.
We are asking that you sponsor a table of 12 for the event in the amount of $500.00. Your check should be made to:
